Newly opened jug of LV resin is very thick, like honey. It will harden, but is difficult to spread. Has it expired
Low Viscosity LV Epoxy Resin
Jug has been stored in original sealed container and opened after a few years of storage. Tired heating it up which lowers the viscosity, but then thickens up again once on the surface. Using this for boat construction in 65 degree weather. Also getting micro bubbles, but real concern is the difficulty in working with the material. This batch is definitely thicker than a similar jug ot LV stored the same amount of time. did I get a bad batch?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. The epoxy has started to crystallize. This happens due to age and improper storage, but can happen without warning. You can reverse it by heating the material in the jug to 135f. Put the sealed container in a hot water bath and shake it every 20 minutes or so until the material is back to its original viscosity with no chunkiness or gelled resin. You can then let it cool to room temp and use as normal. Ideal application temp is 75F. At cooler temps the epoxy will not flow and release air as well.
