With the same pour I get beautiful waves and cells on one project and the next one no cells. What’s the trick?
Resin Ocean Art White Pigment Dye
I try and do everything exactly the same when I am doing two projects with the same pour, but am getting completely inconsistent results. I love one, hate the other. Also, how much pigment should I add?

The trick is practice. Waves/lacing is something that just takes time. Everything effects it, the temperature of your room, the temp of temperature of the resin, how much you mix, what heat gun you use. All of these things need to be just right for epoxy to form cells and for them to stay. As far as how much pigment to use, we advise making the resin opaque. If you can no longer see the wood grain in your stir stick when you pull it out of the mixed epoxy, you have added enough color.
